About Us
Just your typical high school sweetheart love story over here. I love to joke with folks that we started dating in Kindergarten when folks go trying to figure out how old I am and how long we have been together. Daniel was a senior and I was a sophomore and it all started with the homecoming dance in 2005. That was our first date and it has been history ever since.

We dated for several years and in the summer of 2009 life changed a little. Daniel got a job as a lineman in Columbia, SC, 4 hours away from home. After 6 months of long distance dating, Daniel proposed on December 19th, 2009. Almost a year later, we got married on October 2nd, 2010 and I moved to South Carolina. Upon moving to South Carolina, I started school back at the University of South Carolina (still a GA girl over here though; Go Dawgs!) and graduated in 2013 with an accounting degree. I received my CPA license in 2016 and work in the insurance industry.
We bought our first house in December 2011 in SC and were so excited to have a fixer upper where we could put our own touches onto the unique 1960's ranch.
After 5 years of living in South Carolina, Daniel and I decided that the palmetto way of life was not for us any longer. Daniel applied for a job at a electric association in Colorado in June 2015 and 2 months later from that date we moved into our rental home in the foothills of Denver, Colorado. Almost 2 years to the date of our move to Colorado, we purchased our 2nd home in beautiful Conifer, Colorado. In true Rabern fashion, we bought another fixer upper. However, this time we decided to have all of the work done prior to us moving into the home and in one go. I enjoy decorating our renovated home, cooking and baking in my beautiful kitchen, and hosting friends and family who love to visit us in our new home. We enjoy all things Colorado from skiing in the winter to mountain biking in the summer with house projects thrown in between.
