Hi there this is Daniel. I hope you have enjoyed looking at the pictures. I have been surprised at the number of people who have asked about the project or commented on the Instagram updates. Y'all have made the big reveal all the more exciting. Whitney and I have truly put our heart and soul into this project. I am as proud of the work we have done as I have been about any other project I have ever done. The amount of work we put into the project was somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 hours, over the course of five weeks, all that is on top of our normal 40 hour work week plus me being on call twice. The majority of nights we were working until midnight or later with several of those nights past 3 a.m. In the end, I can say that all of the work was truly worth it. We ended up with a bathroom that is a thing of beauty that we have enjoyed and has added a tremendous amount of value to our home. When we got done with the bathroom it looked so incredible and there was only one more item left to update to bring our home into the twenty-first century, so we decided to go ahead and muster what little remaining strength we had left and tackle the surprise project. In true reality show fashion, stay tuned for our next post when we reveal the project that put the icing on the cake and completed the vision that I had when we looked at the house for the first time.

  2. That’s a lot of overhauling! The result is sure worth all the intense work that had to be done to finish this project. Both of you deserve a pat on the back for nailing this task in a short time. I hope everything you altered and replaced in this makeover are still in good shape, now that it’s been a year since this revamping. Have a great day!
