I'm BACK!!

Well hello there blog......long time no see!!! So I kind of sort of fell off the blog bandwagon over the past 6 months.......EEK!!! A lot has gone on since I last wrote as I graduated college (finally), I'm working (counting down for October 1st to come to start my new job with the CPA firm!!!), and most of my time has been dedicated to home renovations over the past two months. More of that to come in the next couple of days: still getting my pics ready!

Today I wanted to post a link to a blog I read the other day that really hit me in my core. One of my friends on facebook commented on the link and I just followed on over to see what it was about. You can read the full post here, titled "The Baby Question: Asking Why instead of When to Have Kids". Danielle over at "from two to one" wrote about the ongoing struggle couples and women face about having kids. I really enjoyed the post as it hit home with some of my main thoughts regarding the issue of having children. It challenges folks to ask "why" instead of "when". Sometimes in the South it seems as though that is just the right thing to do, you graduate high school and/or college, you get married, you have babies. But what if you don't do that? Does that mean you are weird or selfish or something is wrong with you? Not in the least bit and the post above helps address some of those misconceptions. It turns the story and allows you to think about it from a different perspective. I hope that you find it interesting as well and enjoy reading more of what she has to say about the issue.

Look for more posts to come this week with exciting house posts!!!
