So I said I was going to do better with my blog posting but in fact I have started down the road of awful again. So even though I don't have long to write right now I will post a little excerpt about what's going on here lately.

So I am officially counting down until 5:00 today because tomorrow is the day!!!! We leave for a week in the sun and relaxation tomorrow!!! We will be venturing down to St. Simons Island for a week of pure bliss! I am so excited I can barely contain myself!!! Of course, I procrastinated and still haven't packed a single thing yet but thats ok because I have all day tomorrow to make sure I have each little outfit my heart desires! Until then I have to go back to work :(

Things are going great since school got out two weeks ago!!! I have been living it up.

We officially got adopted by our neighbors as their grandchildren!! They are the sweetest and they are taking good care of us over here in SC. We have enjoyed going swimming at their house the past two weeks and sharing refreshing drinks and cool watermelon. More of that is sure to come in the upcoming hot summer weeks!

Yesterday I was able to have lunch with......a......friend.......in.......South Carolina!!!!!!! How much fun is that!!! I have been wishing for this day! It gets a little dull knowing no one here and having no relationships with other couples. I mean we tried to make friends, just no luck thus far. (Hmmm on a side note maybe because we're really old people in a young persons body....just a thought......LOL) But when I got word that a friend I went to high school with was moving here as well because her husband does the same work as Daniel and got a job here too........well to say I got excited was a little of an understatement!!! So we had a delightful lunch yesterday and are planning on getting together tomorrow as well.

I invited her to come over and chill out with me while I was off packing tomorrow and she obliged!! So we are going to have a fun little time eating chatting and sharing our diy projects while on no time schedule!!

Well work is calling so I must go but I do have an exciting post coming up soon of the revamped coffee  table!!!
