Make it a good Thursday

8:59 AM

Well I can tell I've started back to school........because I have sucked at blogging lately! I'm sorry guys! I'm going to try to do better this semester! I really do love blogging but sometimes other things have to have priority first.

I have some good news today on this Thursday! WE ARE ABOUT 90% done with our house renovations we've been working on!!! YAH!!! I can not wait to be 100% done!! We would not be this close without our dear GA friends here in SC! Thanks Cam and Whitney! Don't get confused her name is Whitney too, and that is definitely not the only thing we have in common!

I know it's Thursday already but in preparation for the upcoming holiday weekend I'll share a little bit about what we did this past weekend.

Friday night we were able to attend a wonderful event at Shandon Baptist Church, where Whitney works as the admin assistant to the young married couples director. We enjoyed delicious food, a bunch of laugher, beautiful decorations, and wonderful company! This was Whitney's first event putting on at the church so we enjoyed getting to see her in action and see all her hard work that paid off! (YES, I suck once again because I forgot to take any pictures of this event; when will I learn). We also were able to meet Whitney's parents who came to enjoy the event as well. They were very sweet!

Then Saturday Cam came over bright and early to help Daniel out with the house. Daniel was in much need of some manly help, so thank goodness for him! Then around lunch Whitney and her parents headed over to our area to show them around and to show them our darling little house. Thank goodness it was clean! LOL So after a little tour, they decided they were going to head shopping at a nifty place called Sandhill, which is basically an outdoor mall; very cool!! Then they invited me to go with them, which was so sweet, and I happily obliged because what girl can resist shopping over working on the house. Plus I was really more of the water girl....HA! So we headed shopping, the guys finished up working, and then met up with us for dinner at Olive Garden. Yummy!!

Sunday, you guessed it, we worked on the house some more!!

So hopefully soon my weekend festivities will be filled with more fun things instead of house work.

Daniel didn't get called out to Hurricane Issac, which means he will be home for this long weekend!! YAH! This weekend we plan to finish up everything for our guests that are swinging through on Monday. Daniel's parents are going to make a pit stop by our house to see all of our hard work as they are on their way home from their anniversary cruise in the Bahamas! How exciting!! I can't wait for them to barely recognize the place!!

Well a while a go I started this thing with Daniel where I said "Well make it a good Thursday" and now I try to remember to say it every Thursday! So I'll leave you with those words today!!

XOXO
